A quota of 3 per cent on a country basis and 7 per cent on a district basis according to the ‘TRNC surface area’ was introduced for the sale of property to foreigners. On the other hand, the ‘right to buy a house’ of the citizens of the Republic of Turkey was increased from one to three.

What is in the new law?
