Alanya Triathlon Races
32. Alanya International Triathlon races will be held in Alanya from 14-15th of October in Alanya.
Mayor Adem Murat Yücel announced that Alanya will host Triathlon races on 14-15 October under the slogan ‘Alanya, the Capital of Sports’.
Alanya Triathlon and European Triathlon Cup, which is identified with Alanya, the Capital of Sports, and has been continuing uninterruptedly for 32 years, will be held in Alanya on 14-15 October. A coordination meeting was held under the chairmanship of Alanya District Governor Dr. Fatih Ürkmezer, with the participation of Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel, institution managers, NGO representatives, and technical teams, before the 32nd Alanya Triathlon and the European Triathlon Cup.
Yücel states that Alanya is a globally recognized destination for triathlon competitions.
The upcoming race is of utmost importance and requires continuity, according to the Mayor of Alanya, Adem Murat Yücel. He expressed his pride in organizing the 32nd edition, highlighting that Alanya is one of the two locations worldwide with such a long-standing tradition. Yücel emphasized the significance of striving towards goals and doing one’s best, rather than just going through the motions. Alanya is renowned for its triathlon, and it is a place that instantly comes to mind when people think of the sport. The mayor expressed his gratitude to the Ministry, the federation, and all who contributed to the event and wished everyone a safe and enjoyable race week.
Ürkmezer: “Everyone will fully do their part”
Alanya District Governor Dr. chaired the meeting. Fatih Ürkmezer also stated that Alanya is a very important sports city and said; “Alanya has become a city identified with sports. Our duty is to accept these beautiful organizations as a legacy and pass them on to those after us without any problems. We exchanged general information about the activities to be held in our meetings.
